The hints the author gave me were at the end of every mistery in Encyclopedia Brown Keeps the Peace. The author Donald J. Sobol would put in captions at the bottom of the last page of the mystery what page to turn to, to know how Encyclopedia solved the mystery. In my book every chapter was a different mystery, but if you read really slow you were able to solve the mystery without flipping the page. Encyclopedia is a really good detective because his dad Mr. Brown is the chief of police. In conclusion this is how the author gave clues throughout the book.
In the Lost Hero there are a lot of clues given. They give you a hint that Jason is Hera's trade. You might not think this is a big deal but it turns out to be. Jason is an interesting boy so there are a whole bunch of clues given. In conclusion there are a lot of clues that Rick Rioradian gives
The hints the author gave led to a big mystery in HOOT. Towards the end I already knew that Mullet Fingers was the suspect. Roy didn't think that Beatrice Leep was Mullet Fingers stepsister until lots of clues were given. In conclusion, this is how the author gave lots of clues throughout the book.
I am now reading the Apothecary and the hints help a lot. The Apothecary is trying to stop an atomic bomb but, to save all of the innocent people. The girl Janine is a friend of the Apothecary's son and she goes along with them. I think that she will get caught because she is spying on the bad guys.
